Homepage.com

Terms of Service (item Q) - available from the sign-up page.

... You may not use your home page (or directory) as storage for remote loading or as a door or signpost to another home page, whether inside or beyond HomePage.com.

If you have tried to use one of your images stored at Homepage.com with a 'remote' service, you'll see that familiar box with the red x ... and this message shows up when you click one of your own images:

You are unable to access this file directly because HomePage.com does not allow files to be served to other sites. Please contact the owner of the referring page if this causes you any inconvenience. If you need any further assistance, contact support@homepagecorp.com.

What this means to me is that you can put as much as you want of whatever you want (up to 10 megabytes and subject to other terms of service) in your own personal space at Homepage.com. But - it is freely available only when viewing your pages at Homepage.com and not when the digital files are accessed from another server. Condition 12 allows Homepage.com to terminate your account for misuse - presumably this could include attempts at 'remote loading'.
