The Lycos agreement runs to approximately 30 printed pages. Among all this ....

You agree that you will not use Lycos Network Products and Services to:

Create and maintain a Lycos Network web page as storage for remote loading, or as a door or signpost to another homepage.

What this means to me is that you can put as much as you want of whatever you want (up to 30 megabytes and subject to other terms of service) in your own personal space at a Lycos 'family' free site such as Angelfire. But - it is freely available only when viewing your pages at the host network (Angelfire, for example) and not when the digital files are accessed from another server. Conditions also allow Lycos to terminate your account for misuse - presumably this could include attempts at 'remote loading'.
