Posted at http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/geoterms.html, Geocities TOS page is a pretty clear message about remote loading ... it's not allowed.
Member Conduct, Section 5 (o) you may not ... use your home page (or directory) as storage for remote loading or as a door or signpost to another home page, whether inside or beyond Yahoo GeoCities;
What this means to me is that
you can put as much as you want of whatever you want (subject to other terms of service) in your own personal space at a Yahoo 'family' free site such as Geocities.
But - it is freely available only when viewing your pages at the host network (Geocities, for example)
and not when the digital files are accessed from another server. Conditions also allow Yahoo to terminate your account
for misuse - presumably this could include attempts at 'remote loading'.
