Remind_me is an automated email reminder service that can run on your web server and send advance reminders of a special event:

• someone's birthday
• an anniversary
• a visit to the dentist

People who have registered for the service can choose reminders to arrive one day, two days, one week, or two weeks before the important day. Multiple reminders for the same special event are allowed (so there are no excuses for missing a visit to the dentist).

remind_me was developed as a method of bringing traffic to web sites and providing a service to site visitors. Whether you provide remind_me as a free service to enhance traffic, or as a subscription service to enhance revenue is entirely up to you.
